Occasionally, there are patients that present with dental problems that require treatment under general anaesthesia as they are unable to tolerate dental treatment with local anaesthesia.  On a very selective basis, I am able to offer treatment to these patients using general anaesthesia which is provided in my office.

All of the teeth that require treatment are restored in a single appointment while the patient is “asleep.”

I am fortunate to work with Dr. Matt Kurrek who administers the general anaesthetic.  Dr. Kurrek is a medical doctor, certified in the specialty of anaesthesia.  Dr. Kurrek completed his anaesthesia residency at Harvard Medical School in 1992.  Dr. Kurrek has extensive experience providing general anaesthesia services in dental and medical offices outside of the hospital setting. Dr. Kurrek is assisted by two registered nurses in caring for our patients in a safe and carefully monitored environment.
