First Visit

Your child’s first visit to our office should occur around the time of their first birthday.  Although this might seem too young to you, it is very important to begin instituting preventive measures before dental problems have begun. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon to examine two- year- old patients with many decayed teeth.

The first visit allows you and your child to begin to develop a positive rapport with Dr. Nezon and his experienced staff.  This visit is an educational experience for the parents.  We will tell and show you how to properly care for your child’s teeth to prevent dental problems as they get older.

Your child’s tooth and jaw development will be assessed. All your questions regarding your child’s oral health will be answered.  Our goal is to empower you to make proper decisions regarding your child’s diet and oral hygiene to maintain healthy cavity free teeth for your child.

Please be sure to bring your filled-out paperwork to your first visit.
